Kanazawa University

These two pictures is the view that greets me in the morning from the window, it has been fantastic weather but now that i have said that i have probably jinxed it....

As you can see in the picture i'm surrounded by nature which means when it is Summer it will be hell for me as people who has seen my pictures on facebook i'm allergic to insect bites.  We have realised that we have to be careful for the mega sized wasps, spiders everywhere, bears and snakes now as we found out yesterday! Someone showed us a picture of a snake that was seen on the path down the hill of the uni!

Here are more pictures of around the campus, as you can see we are surrounded by nature :D which i find very pretty but i was warned by some of the Japanese students that it snows a lot here! To the point where it has pass your knees i was told.... of course i will find this out when winter settles in but not looking forward to that!!!

The place i'm living which is like 3 minutes away from the main campus, the international house!

The first picture is of me outside the International house and the other two pics are for the common room where in the evenings if you head down there, there is always someone or a few people there, i try to mingle but sometimes it is a little hard as my japanese speaking is sooooo low so all i can do is nod as i understand what they are saying most of the time but don't know how to respond :(

My room! This was taken the day after i got here but now that i have put pictures up it feels a bit more cosy and  i've accuired more things which makes it less empty! :P
The kitchen/hall way thing, i try to cook as much as possible because it can be quite fun!
This is the most annoying aspect of my room, as you can see there is the toilet, the shower is also in there, so i have to basically shower with the toilet.... and it quite small in there....

So that is it for this post, next time will be about the many adventures taken at Kanazawa so far which has included a lot of walking!!
